This auction is designed, operated, and owned by Peter Leipzig. Leipzig is best know as the Executive Director of the Fishermen's Marketing Association. He retired from the FMA effective January 1, 2017 after working for the organization for over 38 years. He has been involved in the commercial fishing business since 1978. This auction offers fishermen a way to trade quota and fishing gear in a cost effective and secure manner. The auction provides an escrow-like service by holding funds until title changes hand.
